Reviews
Every month, your Merchandising Analyst personally reviews the RMSA Forecast with you. You are guided in merchandise planning, purchasing decisions and inventory management. The RMSA analyst brings a fresh perspective to your business through the accuracy of the RMSA Forecast. Together you identify risks and opportunities in each classification of merchandise, in each store and throughout your retail operation. Retailing is a dynamic industry based on constant change. Planning
Your RMSA analyst helps you set overall goals for your retail operation and identify specific steps to achieve them. You talk about how to maximize cash flow, adjust inventory levels, avoid excessive markdowns and schedule deliveries to take advantage of seasonal selling patterns. You look at merchandise on order and profit opportunities to bring in more merchandise that your clients want to buy. RMSA Planner
Our Planners have backgrounds in retail buying, distribution, planning and store operations, with tenures at RMSA ranging from five years to 35 years! They are responsible for the quality control of your forecast. Once the forecast is generated, they review each classification and make any necessary adjustments. For instance, if the make-up of a given classification in your store has changed, the Planner, working with the Merchandising Analyst, may adjust your yearly planned volume, planned turnover and planned markup.
RMSA Account Specialist
The Account Specialist processes standard monthly reports, expediting the delivery of the completed report to the appropriate client or Merchandising Analysts. They proactively verify all sales information received from the client before the data is incorporated into the process of generating the Forecast.
